Does the job, but in about 300 staples had about 10 double hits. Was using such that could not have any sharp points or bumps. About another 5 to 10 staples had a sharp point sticking up for some reason. Was firing thru very thin aluminum flashing into BC plywood with 5/16 monel staples (Arrow). Either removed the offending staples or knocked the points down with a hammer. A bit irritating.
But having said that, it does have good power and is fairly consistant in staple depth. Would be great stapler for non-exacting work such as insulation or light upholstery. For critical work such as smooth surfaces, questionable.

After the usual prompt service from Amazon, I found that the Surebonder 9600 staple gun works just great with my pan compressor when used to stretch artist canvas. I did get a few jammed staples, but quickly resolved by shutting down the air supply and opening the magazine on the gun. The best part may be the power of the gun which was able, with only 60lb pressure, to leave staples level with the canvas surface of the heavy duty painting stretchers. Barring some possible future melt down, I would give this tool a big thumbs up. By the way, the built in safety feature helps keeping the user from blowing a staple in that same thumb.

I got this product to install a motorcycle seat cover. I found it easy to use and it misfired a couple of times, but worked well enough in my opinion. I'm glad I bought it. I just bought some Arrow staples at the local hardware store to use in it.

I've used various brand hand staplers for a variety of purposes over the years. Many of them require a considerable amount of effort to drive the staple fully into the wood. I didn't think this stapler would make such a difference, especially at the price. Now, however, I'll never go back to a hand stapler for any reason. Yes, you do have to wait for the compressor to build up air, but many 1 gallon ones do that in a minute or two. It's well worth the wait.

This is a great, light weight pneumatic wire staple gun.
It drives the T-50 staples flush, weather using in soft wood or hard wood.
Recommend to anyone.
