Original shipment arrived 1 day later than expected and hence had to push back the start of my project. The first day went with out a hitch. The gun worked straight out of the box and in a 20 hour first work day the gun never jammed once!
On the second day i noticed my air compressor running rather frequently and so went on a search for the air leak. The handle of the gun was craked and and split through into the air chamber. thinking back to the previous days work i remembered my work mate was sometimes hitting the gun with a regular hammer instead of the mallet provided (not recommended!) we also missed once and struck the handle of the gun, i suspect this is when the damaged occured! The gun still operated as normal howwver i had to listen to my loud compresser more often than desired, forcing me to move it to another room!
Couldn't get a hold of Akuzki to work out a replacement but talked with Amazon who sent me a return label and a full refund was promised.Ordered a new gun and when it a rrived i sent the deffected one back. Have not had an issue with the new gun yet. has not jammed yet in the 5 days of work i have used it for!

I Love tools and I really love this one. This cleat nailer delivers; I used Bostitch FLN-200 2-Inch Flooring L-Nail with my nailer and they worked perfect. I nailed down a 3/4" Pre-finished Brazilian Teak Hardwood and it did it with ease. I was operating my nailer around 100 psi; you do need to hit it with a little more power than the instructions say, but just a little bit. A couple of nails and you will have the feel down and then you will be off and running. This Nailer looks cool and preforms even cooler! It's lightweight and easy to handle and fits nice and tight in the grove; make sure you have it seated correctly in the grove before delivering a blow and you will have no problems. It seats the nails without cracking the wood and allows for a nice tight fit for the next row of planks. You get what you pay for and in this case you will love every cent!

In the past i have installed hardwood floors using porter cable nailers. All of those floors went well, but the gun i was using wasn't mine. I decided to buy one, but I didn't want to shell out the high price that the bostitch or porter cable demanded. I was hesitant to go with the Akuzuki due to the low price, but after reading all of the reviews, i took the plunge.
All the positive reviews were accurate. This nailer works just as good as the expensive models. I installed 400 sqft of 3/4" ipe flooring without any problems whatsoever. Great product, great price.
I'd definitely recommend this nailer.

This is a great tool. Works perfect, absolutely no problems with two rooms done and more on the way. Shipping was fast with no problems also. Cheaper than renting when doing more than a weekend job.

I purchased this nailer for use when installing 640 square feet of strand bamboo flooring, in conjunction with Bostich 'L' cleat flooring nails Bostitch FLN-150 1-1/2-Inch Flooring L-Nails, 1000-Per Box. As expected to use the tool over the course of days, with an eye toward utility for future projects, I chose to buy a nailer rather than rent.
Pros:
1. heavy-duty feel
2. budget price
3. changeable baseplates for different thickness flooring
Cons:
1. two of the four allen screws that hold on the base plate simply refused to budge and stripped in the process of trying to remove them to change the plate- completely rendering useless the feature of changeable baseplates for various flooring thickness. (no worries- I added strips of duct tape to suit my 5/8" bamboo strips) This is a manufacturing quality issue. Either the screws should have been properly torqued, or should not have been installed at all, leaving that to the purchaser.
2. Halfway through the flooring project, the unit began to leak air through the head. Not a lot, just a whisper- but enough to cycle my compressor and make me wonder about the tool's longevity.
Despite the cons, it drove the cleats flawlessly and never misfired. I would purchase this again, given the price and balancing the use I would get from it Vs. renting costs, but I would think twice if I was a contractor and had to rely on this tool daily.
